Le Tour Eiffel and Arc De Triumphe

Yesterday, we went to the Eiffel Tour. We decided to take the bus because all of the stairs at the metro station were a lot for my parents to handle. We got off at the Trocadero stop, which offers great photo opportunities since there's a platform at an elevation across from the Eiffel Tour. That's where we took these.

Then Parker had to ride both Carousels on either side of the Eiffel Tour.

We walked all the way down to the Eiffel Tour, which was quite a trek. The steel structure is quite impressive up close.

Then, after Parker napped at the hotel for a couple of hours, we headed over to the Arc De Triumphe.

We had dinner at a brasserie on the Champs Elysee and then we walked around for a bit. Parker had his usual fare of chicken nuggets (since steamed cod and escargot wasn't exactly kid fare) and then we rode home on the metro - Parker's favorite activity of the entire trip. If I look a little bit glassy-eyed, it's because I'd been chasing an energetic two-year-old around for about 8 hours by this point. Oi!
