Disbelief

I used seethe with jealousy whenever I saw a picture of a toddler who fell asleep in his high chair. To accompany the picture, the parents would relay an adorable tale of how their toddler just nodded off while eating. Disgustedly, I used to think to myself, "Seriously, does that really happen??" I just couldn't believe it because Parker is the human version of the energizer bunny.

Hours after you think that he should have been flat on his back due to exhaustion, he's still running circles around you. I mean, it was simply mind blowing to me that some children literally exhausted all of their energy resources and simply could not stay awake another moment. And then yesterday, I left the room for 30 seconds to refill Parker's water and this is what I came back to find.



All I have to say is this: Pigs are flying, hell has frozen over and the cows have come home. That is all.
